Meet our team at Little Blossoms

Hello, I am Amy, the proud owner and manager of Little Blossoms. I have over 18 years of experience working in early years education. I initially qualified as a nursery nurse and then went on to earn a Degree in Early Childhood Education, qualifying as an early years teacher. Opening my own nursery had been my ambition for years. I am very hands-on with the care and education of the children. I am very passionate about what I do – nurturing and inspiring young children in my care. I love my job and with the fantastic team I have, Little Blossoms of Barrowford is a very special nursery!

Hi, I’m Amanda. I have worked in childcare for over 20 years. During this time, I have gained knowledge and experience working with all age ranges. I have 2 children of my own, Jordan and Isabelle who are young adults themselves now. I love following the children's interests and responding to their ideas and learning needs with enhancements to the environment and activities to inspire and motivate them.

Hello, I am Chelsea. I love being part of the Little Blossoms team. I am an Early Years Practitioner leading the under two’s team alongside Paula in Baby & Plum Blossoms. I am very passionate about working with children and I love watching and helping them to grow and develop. I have a very calm and caring nature with children as it is very important for them to feel safe and happy in their nursery environment. I also love planning fun and exciting activities for the babies to help them learn and develop as well as having lots of fun.

Hello my name is Paula. I work alongside Chelsea leading the under two’s team in Baby & Plum Blossoms. I have three children of my own and three beautiful grandchildren that I adore. I have a level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People. Previously,I had a very successful childminding business and have many years experience caring for young children. I joined Little Blossoms in the early days as I wanted to continue my love of caring for children amongst a team. It is importnat to me to form good bonds with all the children with lots of love, cuddles and nurturing. I love to be a part of them growing and develop whilst having lots of fun along the way.

Hello, My name is Chelsea. I am a nursery practitioner in Peach Blossoms. I have a level 3 diploma in childcare and education and have experience of working with all ages. I feel I thrive the best looking after the toddlers. I love caring for children and watching them develop throughout their time at nursery. I have a little girl of my own called Evelyn who is in the baby blossoms room and she loves it. In my spare time I love spending time with Evelyn and my partner Gavin doing lots of fun things and spending time with our families.

Hello. I am Shirley. I love being part of Little Blossoms and getting to know all the children. I like being on the go, helping out in the kitchen by assisting the cook and helping to keep the nursery clean and tidy.
